Six Month Update...

Well, Tyler went to the doctor this week and is growing rapidly. We have enjoyed him so much in the past few months and he is doing so much more than we ever imagined. He is finally getting more hair on his head and he is "chubbing" up nicely.

His six month stats:
Weight: 17 lbs. 10 oz. (50th %)
Length: 27 1/4 inches (75th %)
Interests: Sitting up, trying to stand, waving "hi" to people, making louder noises, laughing a lot, smiling, flirting, rolling over, hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa, looking at and grabbing his feet, putting everything in his mouth...
Skills he is working on: Eating from a spoon, crawling, sleeping through the night (although he is doing much better with this one)

These are Tyler's pumpkins that we got yesterday from the Pumpkin Patch. He thinks they are pretty funny! Ha Ha...

Andy...

Warhol not Lafflam, of course. We stumbled upon this original work of art by Andy Warhol here in Fort Collins in front of one of the University buildings downtown. I thought it was a great photo op!

M'm M'm good!

Winterizing...

It's getting cold here and we are starting to winterize. Our sprinklers got blown out on Friday and the temperature is dropping fast. Although we are still in fall, we are getting ready for cooler temperatures. Planting bulbs for beautiful fall tulips and daffodils are on our to do list. Tyler was trying on some of his winter clothes today and he is looking so cute! I can't believe he will be 6 months old tomorrow. Time flies by so fast! I will post another update with his newest stats as soon as we have our next doctor appointment.

Through the Rockies...

Yesterday, Andy and I took a drive through the Rockies. We started in Fort Collins and went through Estes Park and finally made our way to Boulder. We had a lot of fun on our journey and saw the fall colors in the mountains. Coming from California, we don't really get to see that too often. The weather is definitely changing and the days are so beautiful here. We are cooling down and we expect to have our first snow within the next month or so. Along our drive we saw such beautiful landscapes and some really neat signs. Here are some shots that we took...

Yes, I think I do...Mmmm...Pie....

These 2 signs were perfect. We have two dogs that look like twins and they are Lily and Olive. Very ironic...don't you think.

Here they are now...Olive on the left and Lily on the right. Don't the look like twin sisters?

We saw this rainbow on the way home. What a great way to end the day!
