A Big "Fan" of Elmo...

We have been teaching Tyler some sign language and since he loves fans, we taught him the sign for ceiling fan (finger up in the air and around in a circle) about 3 days ago. He is also starting to recognize and understand what we are talking about with his toys. He has some Elmo toys and just got this bib from Grandma and Grandpa the other day. This was the first time he wore it though. Check out this video of Tyler. Sorry it's sideways. Pause the background music on the blog and turn up the volume on the video. This is so exciting for us!

10 Months...

Tyler is now 10 months old! He is growing up so fast and becoming a little boy. I cannot believe he will be a year old in just 2 months!
His current stats are:
Height: 30 inches (93rd percentile)

Weight: 21 pounds (50th percentile)

Interests: Eating more solids (peaches, pears, bread, waffles, avocado, bananas), pulling himself up to a standing position, walking along the couch, watching fans go around, playing with toys, crawling up stairs, waving, giving 5, quacking like a duck (thank you Grandpa for teaching him this one), getting into things he shouldn't be, hollering like an Indian when you pat his mouth, watching the dogs, baths, showers with dad, laughing, and smiling...

What he is working on: getting some teeth (he still doesn't have any), walking, and talking (he says some words -mama, dada, daddy, hi- but is still in the pre-speech phase)...

Tyler has grown so much in the past couple of months and I can't wait to see how he will grow in the next couple of months.

Only in Fort Collins...

So, apparently Fort Collins is where the geese come to "winter." We have geese everywhere here and they are so pretty, but very messy. We had to stop for them as they went about their business yesterday while driving through the parking lot.

Honk, honk, honk...
